Bungalows suit travellers who are spending real time on the island — four nights or more — and want a base rather than a facility. You plan your own days, eat at local spots, use the motorbike to explore, and come back to a private space on the beach. Couples, solo travellers, and small families on moderate budgets are the majority of our guests.
Hotels make more sense if: you're arriving on a late flight and need guaranteed 24-hour check-in without coordination; you want a pool and organized activities; you're travelling with someone who won't negotiate on daily housekeeping or a full breakfast spread; or you're on a 2-night stop-over where a hotel's efficient in-and-out operation suits the pace better than an owner-run place.
There's also a category of traveller who books a hotel and regrets it. They wanted the beach but ended up 300 metres back; they paid for a pool they used once; they ate hotel breakfast every morning out of inertia rather than trying the food stalls outside.
